Get a call plan
Tell us what your phone does to your day.
We will write you a call plan, walk you through exactly how your calls would be handled, and you decide whether to forward anything. No obligation and no lock-in to find out.
What happens next
Four steps, and none of them are a sales process.
We do not run a pipeline. If we are not right for you we will say so on the first call, which is usually the shortest conversation either of us has that week.
Same day
We call you back
Within one business day, on the number you gave us. If it is urgent, ring us instead — we are an answering service, so somebody will pick up.
The session
We map your calls together
Around 45 minutes, usually with whoever answers the phone now. We work out your call types, what makes something urgent in your words, and what we must never say on your behalf. The method is set out in full here.
Your copy
You get the written plan
Marked up, argued with, and yours to keep whether you proceed or not. You can build a rough draft yourself first — it makes the session faster and sharper.
Your call
You decide
If you want us to run it we go live in a few days on your existing number. If not, keep the document and give it to whoever answers. See what it costs before you decide.
Before you get in touch
Two things worth knowing.
We will talk you out of it
Under about twenty calls a month, do not bother.
A proper answering service is hard to justify at low volume. You are better off with a good voicemail greeting and a habit of returning calls the same day. We would rather tell you that now than take your money and watch you cancel in month three.
If you are weighing up automation
Some of your calls probably should be automated.
We are not against it, and we will tell you which of your calls a machine would handle perfectly well. What we care about is the calls where a mistake costs you a job or a client — those are the ones that go wrong quietly.
